Blue Grouse Basin 2019

On July 13/14, 7 members from the Friends and Park Ranger Eric Adamson worked on completing clearing the trail to Blue Grouse Basin. On the second day, they spent some time working up towards Tanal Lake.

Years of blowdown and avalanche debris needed to be removed from the trail.

When the trail reached Blue Grouse Basin, the views made the work worthwhile.

Another attraction of the basin are the mining artifacts and the remains of the old buildings.

Thanks to Ron Groom for his work in organizing the work party. The other volunteers from the Friends were Mark van Giessel, Roland Perrin, Ken Holmes, Fred Thiessen, Dave Smith and Bert Port.
